Our last night in Copenhagen

Brigitte and I are creatures of habit - so for our last dinner we decided to return to Le Pavé, the French restaurant we had dined at on our first night. We were not disappointed. Brigitte had the rib eye steak with frites and I had the lamb with potatoes, vegetables and a thyme sauce and both were excellent. We again had a bottle of Pinot from Bourgogne and it was a lovely relaxed dinner. The streets were a bit foggy for our quick walk home - maybe København is preparing for Halloween, the Danes appear to celebrate Halloween with a lot of enthusiasm. We then went home watched a bit of Netflix and I can report that we both had a good night’s sleep without any noise or problems from the people upstairs.

Today is a travel day, our host Anna has kindly offered to come and take our cases down for us and I have ordered a taxi. Next post we will be back in Brussels.Lue lisää
