San Ignacio

The ferry docks at Belize City and during the 15 min walk to the bus station we think we've seen enough. Not sure if this is the shady part of town or if its all like this but it looks dodge and the taxi drivers are pushy and rude! Fortunately the bus arrives immediately and we are off to San Ignacio.

On the bus and once we arrive its nice people galore! So refreshing. We find a nice cheap hotel (Abraham is awesome!) and head to the local, "Bamboo Bar" for some much needed drinks.. its a tiny little place and there we meet and chat to more friendly locals and Conrad, our awesome bartender.

Chinese takeaway for dinner and we are crossing our fingers we'll get to go to the famous ATM cave tomorrow!Read more
