    Horizontally across Spain.. almost :)

    October 2, 2017 in Spain ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

The morning was nice and sunny while we walked around the town but within a few hours the clouds had rolled in and we could feel the condensed droplets on the face. It was a beautiful experience after a long time. We drove from Albarracín to Salamanca a distance of about 500 kms in about 6 hours. The 1st 300 kms was a very scenic ride with a lovely rolling hills and sunflower plantations on both the sides. Interestingly, most of the sunflowers were dryed up and almost brown. Once we touched the highway near Madrid, the road became very dreary and totally devoid of anything interesting. We reached Salamanca by 6 pm.Read more
