Colchani festival

After Uyuni, we drove to Colchani. More or less the raw salt desert starts from this small village. We planned to see the salt museum in the village.
When we reached there, we found out that the salt museum was closed since there was a local festival going on.
Again, right place, right time for us 😁
We decided to have a look. It was a nice mix of local singing and dancing, followed by some sort of a modern concert on the stage. The villagers from all around were there with their traditional dresses and headgear. It was a riot of colors and heasy dancing.Read more
