After an hour or so, we reached El Sillar.
Sillar are giant columns of clay formed by erosion.

The winding road climbs up another quebrada (Quebrada Chiriyoj Waykho) and eventually crosses from peak to peak across two valleys. The Sillar sits below the road, and is a masterpiece of eroded rock formations cut through by a (in the summer months) dry riverbed.
One one side of the viewpoint, there is the El Sillar formations and on the other side are very colorful hills.Read more
