Copaquilla village

The village of Copaquilla down in the valley turned out to be a ghost town. There was absolutely no one in the village. We drove to the end of the valley. There was not a single soul around. We also couldn't see the pukara.
By now, it was 8 pm and the sun had set behind the mountains. We decided to drive back to the main road and drive to Putre where we planned to stay for the night.
As we drove a bit further on the main road, we saw the board pointing to the pukara. So, we didn't need to go down into the valley for it. But, by now, it was dark so we decided to maybe come back the next day.Read more
