Parinacota & Pomerape

A bit further from the Las Cuevas stop, there are 3 viewpoints with descriptions about the mountains and the flora and fauna in the region. After we crossed a small ridge, we could see the majestic Parinacota and Pomerape volcanoes. Both the volcanoes are on the Chile - Bolivia border. Parinacota is 6348 mts high and in the shape of a perfect cone. It has a crater on the top. Pomirape is a bit smaller amd is 6282 mts high.Leggi altro
