Sapo (toad) and the Monk

A bit further along the route, we came across the El Sapo or the toad formation. Its a volcanic rock on tge side of the road and its shaped like a toad. A km or so away, we stopoed at the Monje o fraile Franciscano or the monk formation. It was a bit hard to find this one despite the board there but we did eventually. It was a small red sandstone pillar like formation looking like a monk in his habit. Further along the road, there were more roxk and clay formations.Read more
