When we were entering at the entrance of Ana Te Pahu, we had asked about the other places we had marked on the gps but we were told that we would need a guide for anything else amd that it is very difficult to reach them.
When we came out of the Ana Te Pahu, we actually were quite close to the points we had marked. We guessed that most people were never going that deep into the cave so they were not coming out near the other marked points. We decided to check them out now that we were so close.
Ana Via Bomba was just about 150 mts from where we had exited and was a cave entrance with a lot of plant growth. We decided not to go in since it looked a bit unstable.
We walked about a km further on the main track to the cave with the birdman petroglyph. It was a shallow cave with the petroglyph at the entrance. We saw it and then started our walk back to the entrance of this area.
