Off to Coyhaique (4th ride)

Within 10 min of waiting, we managed to get a ride with a lovely lady driving a pickup jeep. She was working at the university and had impeccable English so had some fantastic discussions while enjoying the fabulous scenery around. She was working as a social worker in different fields and was able to tell a lot about the social structure of Chile and the issues faced by the people. It was a very eye opening discussion about the domestic violence seen in Chile and the reasons behind it all.Read more
