Plaza Murillo

We walked over to the main plaza in La Paz called the Plaza Murillo. Its a nice small square with a lot of pigeons. People were sitting around relaxing and feeding the pigeons.

We then walked towards the Killi Killi viewpoint. It was a pretty steep climb up. On the way, we stopped for some juice.

Once at the city center, we walked through the Mercado Lanza. It's a 4 storeyed building with many small kiosks selling all kinds of goods.

As we crossed about 5000 mts, it got a bit nippy in the air. There was snow on the roadside. The road goes almost 400 mts from the peak.

The 300 mts climb to the peak was a tough one. The climb was very steep. The atmosphere is quite thin at this altitude and each step took a lot of effort. We took 15-20 min to climb to the peak.
