Lappland

Der Camping ist gefunden und die Mücken machen jagt auf mich. Die Strecke führte über endlose Geraden durch riesige Wälder. Während nicht ganz 50 km sind mir 2 Rentiere und 2 Elche mittten auf der Strasse begegnet, da heisst es anhalten und Abstand halten bis sie im Unterholz wieder verschwinden. Später kam ich noch an dem Ort Levi vorbei, wo jährlich ein Ski Weltcup Slalom ausgetragen wird. Weiter fuhr ich quer durch den Pallas-Yllästunturi-Nationalpark und bin nun beim Camping für heute Nacht angekommen.
Die heutige Nacht wird eine Polarnacht, d.h. die Sonne wird die ganze Nacht nie komplett untergehen. Die Wetteronline App versteht dies korrekt und zeigt es auch so an. Nicht so mein BMW Navi.

The campsite is found and the mosquitoes are hunting for me. The route went through endless roads through huge forests. In less than 50 km I met 2 reindeer and 2 moose in the middle of the road, means stop and keep distance until they disappear in the forest again. Later I passed the place Levi where every year a Ski World Cup slalom is held. Next I drove across the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park where I arrived at the campsite for tonight.
Tonight will be a polar night, i. the sun will never set completely the whole night. The weather online app understands this correctly and shows it that way. Not my BMW Navigationsystem.Read more
