    A hovercraft and DINOSAUR FOOTPRINTS!!!

    June 30, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

Well what an adventure on our last morning in Broome! We got up very early when it was still dark and went to ride on a hovercraft! It was the coolest, easiest way to get to see some dinosaur footprints on a nearby beach. We also got to see a beautiful sunrise... The hovercraft was amazing fun! Even though it seems like a marine vehicle, it is more like a plane with how it works. We floated 3 feet (almost a metre) above the ground so rocks and turtles weren't a problem! It was incredible to see the footprints of a Brachiosaurus and a baby. Paleontologists from around the world come to Broome to study them. There are no bones though. Some of us stood in the footprints so we could imagine the way the dinosaurs walked. How amazing.Read more
