Territory Day in Darwin

We didn't expect to arrive in the middle of a celebration but we did! The first of July is an anniversary of the Northern Territory starting it's own government. And it's also the one day a year anyone can buy and set off fireworks! Our apartment is at the waterfront and we can hear a lot of fireworks and we can see the big ones.
