    À glorious day to head to the mountains. On y va.Going up to Vogel Ski Station in the cable car.Cable car,Looking down to Lake Bohinj.We would walk around this lake two days later.Julian Alps all around.Vogel Ski Station.Walking down to walk up.Heading up.We'd come back down on this chair lift later.Two female paragliders on the right.We climbed to the cross and rang the wishing bell.Taking the chair lift down to the ski station.Back on solid ground.Heading back down to the lake.Taking the forest path back to another village to take our bus.À beautiful and peaceful 5 km walk.Back in Bled Mlino, the famous Bled Cream Cake had to be tried but once was enough.

    Vogel Mountain, Triglav National Park

    Our second day staying in Bled, we took the bus to the village of Ukanc on Lake Bohinj, specifically to take the cable car up to Vogel Ski Station for a walk in the lower Julian Alps, all part of the wonderful Triglav National Park.

    Although we were heading to Lake Bohinj two days later, we made a late decision to go to Vogel today - based on the weather and that the cable car would be operating for just one more day before closing for maintenance ahead of the ski season.

    So happy we went. It was such a fun day and the views were glorious 😎😎
