Today we took the bus from Adelaide to visit the German town of Hahndorf. This was Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement founded in 1838.
We had a blast exploring the town, getting drinks and pretzels at multiple German bars. Our favorite drinks were Dunkel and the Hefeweizen, and we enjoyed pretzels at two of the locations as well.
Unfortunately the town felt a tad touristy, and the pretzels were subpar, so we opted for Spanish food for dinner. We had a phenomenal time at Comida Hahndorf, and really enjoyed their paella and sangria.
Following drinks and Spanish food in Hahndorf we called it a night, as tomorrow we fly to Perth!Read more
