• Exploring Perth and day of rest

    30. mars, Australia ⋅ ☀️ 84 °F

Today we did some light exploring and used the day to get a ton of planning done for our time in Asia, Oktoberfest, and Turkey later in the year.

For breakfast we wandered to an Italian bistro called Espresso and Prosecco and had delicious paninis. We did some walking after, before heading to our hotel for some serious planning.

Chris took a moment during the day to get a haircut from an awesome local barber at a shop called The Godfather. This spot had a life size alien statue made from old engine parts in the window, and a ton of predator statues as well. The rest of the interior was Godfather and Scarface themed, with a giant bar with whiskey and beer for the patrons(at no cost). The owner was very kind/cool and talked with Chris about the different comedians from California whose hair he has cut!

We took a planning break for dinner, and tried Sri Lankan food for the first time at a restaurant called Karumba. This food was beyond fantastic, and Sri Lankan food is a new favorite for us both!

After dinner we headed back to Elizabeth Quay to see it at sunset, and then headed home to do more planning.
