• Kakadu National Park

    April 3 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 79 °F

Well, today was an exciting day! We got up bright and early and headed to the private airport for a scenic flight through Kakadu National Park.

This flight was absolutely EPIC!! We got phenomenal views of the rivers and grasslands, and then got up close and personal with massive mountains and waterfalls. Our pilot was an absolute pro, and got us very close while always positioning us for the best views.

Once we’d finished the scenic flight, we landed in the park to do a river tour. The river tour was epic in its own right, with absolutely serene views and mirror like reflections on the water. We also got to see a ton of local wildlife that really impressed us.

Frankly we wish we could share more than two videos on the blogpost, as the sights were incredible!

After the river cruise we ate at a restaurant in the park before flying back to Darwin. Once in town again, we tried a fun Sri Lankan spot called Ella by Minoli for dinner(it was excellent) and then enjoyed one final Australian sunset before we called it a night. Tomorrow we fly to Singapore!
