Having dinner at one of Youngstown famous restaurants, Bogey's, named of course after you know who, Humphrey Bogart.
The menu is traditional home cooked family Italian with stunning food varieties. We all started with something called a wedding soup, a bit like minestrone but with spinach and meat in it as well, a stunning starter.
I had an Angus Sirloin which just melted in my mouth and Sue went with a pasta meatball dish, of humongous proportions that she couldn't get through. Our new friend Brad treated us and we had a fantastic evening.Baca lagi

Caught up with Bec's diving coach Nick and his lovely wife Diane for lunch. Nick suggested this great restaurant in Struthers, another Italian one.
It seems there is no shortage of Italian restaurants in the Mahonin Valley due to the huge migration of Italians throughout the area in the 1800's and early 1900's.

A relaxing day today and we headed in to YSU campus to help out the dive team install some new boards.
Moved the old ones to the dry land facility and helped get that set up.
Following that we got across to the soccer field to support Bec's Bestie, as she calls her, in the women's YSU soccer match. Unfortunately they lost with a last minute goal to the opposition.Baca lagi

YSU Tour

What a great day. After standing around the soccer ground with YSU President Jim Tressel, he invited us back to his home Pollock House on the campus grounds.
What an amazingly kind man with a heart of gold.
The mansion was so stunning inside and restored impeccably back to its 1894 glory, such a beautiful home and wonderful to spend time with the President.Baca lagi
