Hot Springs

The past few days have been very relaxing.

Tammy and I spent one entire day at Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Spa soaking in the hot and cool waters and getting facials and massages.

Yesterday, we rode to Rapid City and Sturgis to do some adulting (mailing stuff home, ordering parts for our helmets, etc.). On the way north through Custer State Park, we were delayed by three different herds of buffalo. With so many calves, we were very careful to keep our distance lest the cows have a go at us. They are truly magnificent animals, but pretty obliviously to cars and road noise.

Last night we were sitting outside of the hotel and welcomed in three other Hoka Hey riders. Hugs all around despite never having met them before. They were very grateful to be finished, as Tammy and I well understood.

Tammy rolled to California this morning, and I'm packing to roll out tomorrow. I'm heading to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for the next HOG Touring Rally.

- I needed both of my tripmeters for the Hoka Hey, so I'm starting over on my mileage plus 24568.7 miles off the previous tripmeter.

- I picked up a couple of dealerships during the Hoka Hey and Sturgis yesterday.

- I got North Dakota during the Hoka Hey 😁.
