• A Day In Oslo

    12 Julai 2017, Norway ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

A sunny and warm day in Oslo, so I took a trip by Metro to the Holmenkollen ski jump, used in the Winter Olympics. A steep walk up hill, then a lift to the top of the jump and an observation deck with views of the countryside. Interesting to stand at the top of the jump and get the view that the jumpers get, although of course no snow. Back in Oslo I went to the attractive and bustling Aker Brygge harbourside area, for a 10 minute boat ride over to the Kon Tiki and Fram museums. If you have an interest in polar exploration, as I do, then you will love the Fram museum, where the ship is displayed with lots of interesting exhibits, and you can go onboard and walk the deck. Next door in the Kon Tiki museum, the original raft is displayed, which is amazing to see in real life considering the journey it made across the Pacific.Baca lagi
