Saw hundreds of Oyster Catchers, lots of Shell Ducks, Little Egrets, Curlews and Cormorants on the Salt Marsh from the hide along the sea wall. Massive holiday park and big gas refinery?
Catherine FoulkesJust spent 3 days on the salt marshes and salt pans of ilê de Ré. Cycling along and suddenly a mist of herons and cormorants - and gulls too rise in a blizzard in front of us. Stunning.
