Our afternoon was spent leisurely exploring the eastern region of the island. Coastal towns, lighthouses, and potato fields were aplenty.

North Rustico is a fishing village with a population of 850. Deep sea fishing, kayaking and biking was available to tourists. The most adventurous thing we did was a leisurely stroll!

A short ten minute drive inland and we were in rolling hills and more potato fields. Apparently potatoes grow very well in the iron rich red soil. This was also one of our favourite regions on theLeggi altro
