Cowra is a lovely outback NSW town. Its famous for the Japanese Prisoner of War camp where prisoners were held during WW2. There was an uprising and breakout from the camp and prisoners escaped. OverLue lisää

Parkes is a bigger outback town. Its famous for its radio telescope which was built in 1961 and was at the time the biggest in the world. CSIRO work with NASA on space projects.

Finished the day at Nyngan on the Bogan River. Nice camping ground on the river. Not much water, but others years you can water ski there.

Old Silver mine in Silverton area of Broken Hill. Went on an underground tour. Glad I didn't live here then and my son's had to work here. Dangerous hard work with high mortality rate for accidentsLue lisää
