    The Nightjet overnight train from Zurich to Vienna takes about 12 hours and 18 minutes, with departures around 8:40 PM and arrival in Vienna early the next morning around 7:55 AM at Vienna Central Station. The train stops at major stations such as Salzburg and Linz along the route.

    The ÖBB Nightjet sleeper cabins for two people with breakfast included offer a very comfortable travel experience.

    The double cabins provide privacy and a cozy atmosphere. Some of the sleeper cabins come with their own bathroom facilities, including a washbasin, shower, and toilet, plus towels and toiletries such as soap, slippers, and earplugs. The beds come fully made with linens, blankets, and pillows.

    Additional conveniences include a call system to contact the train staff directly from the compartment, a wake-up service at your requested time, and an à la carte breakfast served with hot beverages. Snacks and drinks can also be ordered and enjoyed in your compartment.

    Belvedere Palace is one of Vienna’s most significant Baroque palaces, built in the early 18th century as a summer residence for the military commander Prince Eugene of Savoy. This magnificent palace complex consists of two buildings, the Upper and Lower Belvedere, connected by an artistically designed garden with fountains and ponds.
    Prince Eugene of Savoy, a successful military leader and patron of the arts, commissioned the construction of the Belvedere.
    After Prince Eugene’s death, Empress Maria Theresa acquired the Belvedere and from 1770 onward, it was used as the Imperial Picture Gallery.

    Today, the palace houses the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere, which features the largest collection of paintings by Gustav Klimt in the world, including the famous masterpiece “The Kiss”.

    The two identical buildings behind the Hofburg in Vienna are the twin wings of the Neue Burg (New Castle) wing.
