What a great trip…final thoughts

We left Bucharest late in afternoon and arrived in London. We parted ways with Liz and Alan and made our way to our airport hotel. Had a quick bite to eat and hit the sack as we needed t be at the airport early.

This was an excellent trip with good friends Al and Liz.
Every stop offered a new adventure. All European countries are full of history. Leaving Romania after listening to our guide describe the last months of the former communist government, makes me grateful for the change they made to the Romania of 2026. The corrupt, media controlling, authoritarian government was tossed. Romania is now part of the European Union. I see similarities here where I live and I’m optimistic that things can change.Baca selengkapnya
