First stop today was to see the Steppes sculptures which were displayed deep in the Steppe forest

We are now in Deloraine a nice small old town on the Meander river.
The caravan van park is small but stretches along the riverbank. We are in a park so that we have power for the heater, I think theLæs mere

The Don Railway museum

We drove up to Devonport to check how long it would take us to get to the ferry terminal (about 15 minutes) so while we were up that way we visited the railway museum that we had seen 10 weeks agoLæs mere
The Cherry Shed

We went for lunch at the cherry shed and what an awesome cherry pie we had. Kay bought herself some cherry socks and some cherry jam
Latrobe Axeman's hall of fame

Today we thought we would take a look in the Axeman’s hall of fame!
It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be but probably because the same guys kept winning every year.
Last day in Tasmania

Well our 11 weeks are up so today its time to take 1 last look around town then this afternoon we will head up to Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania ferry back over to the mainland (Melbourne)Læs mere

Well we started our Tasmanian adventure by having bacon and eggs for breakfast in the Bunnings carpark and so now we have finished it off by having lunch (cheeseburger and fries) in the same carpark.

We spent around 6 hours sightseeing in the Grampians national park.

We fuelled up in Stawell then set off East towards South Australia, after passing a few places that seemed to look familiar (like the big Koala) we realised that we had travelled this way last yearLæs mere

Went to the local IGA and also had a look around town which didn’t take up too much time as it is a small outback town.

We stopped at Port Wakefield to eat some lunch sandwiches which I had purchased when getting fuel, sorry to say Kay didn’t enjoy hers as she thought it was a bit like plastic I enjoyed mine butLæs mere

As we left Lochiel we got another look at the Nessie sunning herself on the beach and she did look splendid.
