Slow start to the morning, the bonus of a 3 night stop. Regan decided to start the day pretty motivated and walked the Mandu Mandu Gorge. I decided I had done enough rock clambering so had a quiet morning at the camp doing all those little jobs I had been ignoring.
Mandu Mandu Gorge is a loop track. Only 3km long but a very steep climb out of the gorge at the halfway point. No shelter from the fierce sun for the whole walk.

In the afternoon we cruised the coast checking out all the bays we had not ventured into yet. Most of them north of our camp were more exposed and perfect for surfing or kite surfing. A lot of these are turtle breeding beaches but we are about 3 weeks too early to see them. A few people have said they have seen turtles when they have been snorkelling.

We finally decided Turquoise Bay was the perfect spot for our last swim here. It hasn’t disappointed on any of the days we have visited.
Back to the camp for a sundowner drink and began to pack up the outside gear as the wind at night makes the awning rattle and groan.. Short drive tomorrow to Coral Bay for more of the same we hope.
