From St Moritz to Zermatt

At 830am, we were at the St Moritz rail station. When I opened my bedroom curtains today, we noticed no change from yesterday. The lake was still frozen. We boarded the Glazier Express today to Zermatt. With a first class ticket, we enjoyed the comfort and a 5-course fine dining with special treatment to store our bags.We were treated to royalty ... All comes at a price ! From St Moritz to Chur, we had snow flakes falling at places, and later, the snow started to melt on the icey landscape.From Chur to Zermatt, the journey was rather slow, giving us plenty of time to appreciate nature at its best ..... We arrived at Zermatt at 1700 ..As we got off the train we felt thd cold! As we pulled our bags to Walliserhof Hotel, the cold was numming our hands and ears ! ..Ater we checked in, we strolled the main street, but the icy cold wether sent us back to our warn room overlooking the icy white snow of the surrounding hotel rooftops.
