We walked around the historic plaza, then went to Meow Wolf’s House of Eternal Return- a museum I can’t even begin to explain! It was unique!
Santa Fe was too crowded so we decided to go to Taos. We stopped at the Blue Heron Brewery on the way, did a little shopping and had a wonderful dinner. Now we have a 2 hour drive to our lastEn savoir plus
We wanted to stay at a state park near Raton, New Mexico but it was full! The Holiday Inn Express in town was $170! We were driving to check out the Robin Hood motel for $80, but stopped at the KOAEn savoir plus
We started our trip home, but of course we’re going to make some stops! The first was to drive up a volcano and hike into the crater! Fun way to start the morning!
We stopped in Liberal to see Dorothy’s House & walk through the Land of Oz. It was a guided tour by Dorothy herself! Super cheesy but fun!
We made it back to Wichita around 6 p.m. We’re in the car wash right now...it couldn’t wait another day! We’re not looking forward to unpacking but it was a wonderful trip.
