    🇰🇭Cambodia overview🥥🪦🛕

    July 31, 2022 in Cambodia ⋅ ☁️ 27 °C

    🔖 Before you go:
Listen to at least the first episode of the podcast 'Shadows of Utopia" and make sure to get rid of you dollar bills in bad shape or 2$

    🤤 Best food:
    1. Amok
    2. Coconut Curry
    3. Fresh Springrolls

    🛌 Places to stay:
    1. Karma Traders on a Tuesday
    2. Sleeping Trees
    3. Mad Monkey Koh Rong Sanloem

    📝 Must do:
    1. Get a massage from a blind person at
    2. Treck on the jungle on the Cambodian islands to find a paradisiac beach and stay there enjoying living on the most basics
    3. Party in a Tucktuck pub

    👁️Top attractions:
    1. Angkor Temples: sunrise at Angkor Wat, visit the faces of Bayon Temple and the powel of nature in Ta Prohm
    2. S21
    3. LandMine Museum

    ✨Favorite moments:
    1. Seeing the plankton and the stars before going to bed at Lazy Beach
    2. Being invited to a gig from some expats and meeting all this new part of the country
    3. Being picket up on the road by the kindest and most generous people

    🔑Something this country taught me:
How some of the most cruel acts performed in history were done by people who came from loving families, educated and healthy. So cruelty can't always be explained through adversity. While at the same time, how resilient, forgiving and loving can a country be after the biggest sufferings and poverty.

    ♻️Something I've had enough of:
The food. Mostly the huge amounts of black pepper in every dish.

    ⏳Something I will miss:
    Making cocktails

    👣Leaving for next time:
North-west (Kratie, Mondulkiri and Banlung), the small Cambodian Islands, the Floating Villages and M'Pai in Koh Rong Sanloem

    🎁To be remembered:
How man put their t-shirts up as a crop top to show their huge and round bellies.
