    Glenorchy

    April 1, 2022 in New Zealand ⋅ ☁️ 10 °C

From Queenstown we drove up to Glenorchy and had lunch by the lake. We then carried on to the Sylvan campsite, which was a really nice DOC camp. In the afternoon we went for a half hour walk through the beech forest to Lake Sylvan. There was a very bold Robin there, which sat on Pete's hand, and foot.

On Saturday we went to Lighthorse Adventures and I went on a 2 hour trek. Before the trek was a 2 hour natural horsemanship lesson. It was just me and the guide (Sarah, a young French woman), and I had a nice horse called Duncan.

On Saturday afternoon we drove up to Diamond lake, and had lunch there. We then drove to Kinloch, to stay the night. We parked right across from the Dart River, looking across the lake and mountains. It was so nice there we decided to stay another night.
