Arrowtown

After Moke lake we spent another 2 nights at Queenstown Top 10, and caught up on laundry etc.

We then moved on to Arrowtown. We visited the Chinese village when we arrived, and were amazed by how many people were around. We checked into the Arrowtown holiday park.

On Sunday we went for a 42.5km bike ride. We started on the 4 Bridges trail to the Bungy Bridge on the Kawerau River, then rode the Twin Rivers trail until we reached the Lake Hayes estate. We stopped at a cafe for coffee, then carried on to Lake Hayes and followed the trail around one side of the lake, before riding back to Arrowtown through the Millbrook estate.

On Monday we had a lazy morning, then walked into town, visited the museum, and wandered through the town.

On Tuesday morning we visited Elina, at our Easter house sit, to learn about looking after the horses. In the afternoon I went for a walk around Arrowtown while Pete worked.Read more
