Auckland, Torbay

V kritickém stavu samoty, vyrazil jsem na víkend do Aucklandu. Tam je lidí dost. Asi třetina Zélandu. S Gustavem - kamarádem z Chile - to spolu pečeme už od prvního dne. Tulácká rodina. Sedli jsme do baru, pojedli, brebentili. Moc fajn chvíle. Jen škoda, že mě ten večer stál stejně jako dva týdny na Waiheke. Ceny služeb mají Kiwáci šílený. Pak už jen přespat v Torbay u babičky, rozloučit se, a vyrazit zpět na sever. Dostal jsem totiž práci na sběru borůvek!

Auckland, Torbay

In a critical state of loneliness, I headed off to Auckland for the weekend. Plenty of people there—about a third of New Zealand. Me and Gustavo - a friend from Chile - have been tight since day one. The members of wandering family.
We sat down in a bar, had something to eat, chatted. Really nice moments. Just a shame that the evening cost me as much as two weeks on Waiheke. The Kiwis have insane service prices.
Then just a night’s sleep in Torbay at grandma’s place, goodbye, and head back north. Because I finally got a job—picking blueberries!Читать далее
