Feuer in der nacht

Wow, war das heute ein verrückter und anstrengender Tag. Wo soll ich anfangen? Heute Morgen bin ich aufgewacht und es war tatsächlich ein bisschen frisch 22° oder so. Als ich aufgestanden bin, habe ich mir kurz Frühstück gemacht und einen Kaffee gekocht. Zumindest war das der Plan. Dummerweise musste ich dann feststellen, dass mein Kocher verstopft ist. Deshalb habe ich hab mein ganzes Zeug zusammen gepackt mich in mein Auto gesetzt und bin los nach Katherine. Ich musste einige Sachen erledigen. Als Erstes habe ich die Lizenz für mein Auto erworben den australischen Führerschein gemacht und mein Auto auf mich überschrieben. Danach habe ich, wie gesagt einen neuen Campingkocher gekauft. Einer, der nicht verstopft, wenn Wasser überkocht wichtige Anmerkung. Dummerweise ist hier alles ziemlich teuer, da wir weit im Outback sind und es teuer ist, die Sachen herzubringen. Danach war ich noch einkaufen als alles erledigt war, war es schon etwas später. Ich glaube so gegen 15:00 Uhr. Dann bin ich losgefahren um einen Spot zu finden. Ich hatte auch einen Track gefunden, der etwas herausfordern, da war, als ich dachte, es war direkt eine 4 × 4 Aktion für mein Auto. Nur leider bin ich bei dem steilen Stück auf dem Rückweg stecken geblieben. Ich hab mindestens eine halbe bis Dreiviertelstunde gebraucht, mit den zusätzlichen Plastik Grip teilen mir einen Weg wieder nach oben zu bahnen. Ich muss zugeben, das hat mich extrem gestresst und ich war echt fertig danach. Danach bin ich nochmal mindestens 1 Stunde weiter in eine Richtung gefahren, konnte aber kein Land finden, dass niemandem gehört oder keine Farm darauf ist. Man muss dazu sagen die Farmen hier haben riesige Länder rein und dort darfst du halt nicht stehen. Es ist dann schon quasi dunkel war, habe ich mich dazu entschieden zu erschießen Einer Farm zu gehen, bei der Licht brannte. Dort habe ich eine Frau bei einem Auto gefunden und sie angesprochen, ob ich nicht hier auf dem Land bleiben dürfte. Sie sagte mir ja wär kein Problem sie war wirklich Mega nett aber ich sollte aufpassen da in der Nähe Waldbrände sind und gestern das Feuer schon fast hier war. Dennoch sollte es kein Problem sein, gerade weil die Männer unterwegs sind und die Feuerwache halten hier. Ich kann aber das Feuer riechen die Luft ist voller Rauch. Quasi auf jeden Fall fühle ich mich hier auf der Farm total wohl. Es ist wirklich schön was ich so im Dunkeln erkennen kann. Und ich werde morgen mal fragen, ob sie bis Ende der Woche hier Hilfe auf der Farm brauchen könnten.

Wow, it was a crazy and exhausting day today. Where do I start? I woke up this morning and it was actually a bit nippy 22° or so. When I got up, I made myself a quick breakfast and made a coffee. At least that was the plan. Unfortunately, I then realized that my stove was clogged. So I packed up all my stuff, got in my car and set off for Katherine. I had a few things to do. First of all, I got my car license, got my Australian driver's license and transferred my car to me. Then, as I said, I bought a new camping stove. One that doesn't clog up when water boils over important note. Unfortunately, everything is quite expensive here as we are far out in the outback and it is expensive to bring things here. After that I went shopping and by the time everything was done it was a bit later. I think it was around 15:00. Then I set off to find a spot. I had also found a track that was a bit more challenging than I thought, it was a 4 × 4 action for my car. Unfortunately, I got stuck on the steep section on the way back. It took me at least half to three quarters of an hour to make my way back up with the extra plastic grip parts. I have to admit, it was extremely stressful and I was really exhausted afterwards. After that, I drove at least another hour in one direction, but couldn't find any land that didn't belong to anyone or that didn't have a farm on it. It has to be said that the farms here have huge areas of land and you're not allowed to stand there. By then it was almost dark, so I decided to shoot a farm where the lights were on. I found a woman there by a car and asked her if I could stay here in the countryside. She told me yes, it wouldn't be a problem, she was really nice but I should be careful because there are forest fires nearby and the fire was almost here yesterday. Still, it shouldn't be a problem, especially as the men are out and about keeping a fire watch here. But I can smell the fire, the air is full of smoke. In any case, I feel totally at home here on the farm. It's really nice what I can see in the dark. And I'll ask tomorrow if they could use some help here on the farm by the end of the week.Читать далее
