Mal wider angeln

Deutsch:
Heute Morgen habe ich natürlich wie immer meinen Kaffee auf dem Balkon getrunken. Gegen frühen Mittag kam Rachel mit ihrem Sohn und seiner Freundin zurück, die ich dann auch kennenlernen durfte. Ich war schon im Begriff zu gehen, da ich heute geplant habe angeln zu gehen. Also habe ich Köder gekauft und bin an eine Stelle, die ich mir davor schon auf Google Maps rausgesucht hatte. Dort habe ich einige Zeit geangelt und konnte tatsächlich auch einen schönen Fisch fangen, den ich mit Kuss wieder freigelassen habe, da es noch zu früh war um ihn mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Während ich dort geangelt habe, kam auch noch ein Schiff vorbei (eine Art Party Boot). Ich habe mich nett mit dem Personal unterhalten und durfte dort kurz auf die Toilette gehen. Das Boot hat eine Gruppe von Rentnern mitgenommen, da jemand heute seinen 70. Geburtstag gefeiert hat. Nachdem alle an mir vorbeigelaufen sind und mindestens die Hälfte von Ihnen ein Gespräch mit mir angefangen hat, da ich am Angeln war, hat das Schiff abgelehnt. Alle auf dem Boot haben mir gewunken, um mich zu verabschieden, das war ziemlich witzig und eine nette Begegnung. Als die Nacht eingebrochen ist, musste ich fluchtartig mein Angelplatz verlassen, da ich kein Moskitospray dabei hatte und ich regelrecht attackiert wurde. Zumindest konnte ich auf dem Rückweg noch ein Possum sehen. Den restlichen Abend habe ich dann noch einen Film geguckt und bin auch früher geschlafen.

This morning, of course, I drank my coffee on the balcony as usual. At around midday, Rachel came back with her son and his girlfriend, who I then had the pleasure of meeting. I was already about to leave as I had planned to go fishing today. So I bought some bait and went to a spot I had already picked out on Google Maps. I fished there for a while and actually managed to catch a nice fish, which I released with a kiss as it was still too early to take it home. While I was fishing there, a boat came by (a kind of party boat). I had a nice chat with the staff and was allowed to go to the toilet there briefly. The boat was taking a group of pensioners, as someone was celebrating their 70th birthday today. After they all walked past me and at least half of them started a conversation with me because I was fishing, the boat refused. Everyone on the boat waved to me to say goodbye, which was quite funny and a nice encounter. When night fell, I had to leave my fishing spot in a hurry as I didn't have any mosquito spray with me and I was literally attacked. I spent the rest of the evening watching a movie and went to bed early.Read more
