Pushkar - day 3

Terza giornata a Pushkar, adoro questa cittadina, camminare per le vie e per i mercati, parlare con la gente del luogo, bere chai the. Non sono invece proprio super fan delle mucche e delle scimmie, ma ci si convive.

Questa sera sono andata sul Savitri Mata Temple, il tempio dedicato alla prima moglie di Brama (quella che lui avrebbe dovuto inizialmente sposare).
Per arrivare al tempio si può camminare su una lunga scalinata oppure prendere una funicolare, cosa che ho fatto io.
In cima c’è un piccolo tempio dove siamo state assalite (io e Naomi, una ragazza inglese incontrata sul percorso) dagli indiani per fare la foto di rito con tutti.
Inoltre in cima è pieno di scimmie, che non fanno niente ma sono pronte a ricevere ogni tipo di cibo.

Dopo la visita al tempio, siamo andate a vedere il tramonto, seguito dalla discesa a piedi dal tempio e da una cena a base di Momo.

Oggi era la mia ultima giornata intera a Pushkar, ho ancora una mattina domani (14.3.2024) e poi mi sposto a Delhi.

Third day in Pushkar - I love this town, walking through the streets and markets, talking to the locals, drinking chai tea. I'm not exactly a fan of cows and monkeys, but you can live with it.

This evening I went to the Savitri Mata Temple, the temple dedicated to Brama's first wife (the one he was initially supposed to marry).
To get to the temple you can walk up a long staircase or take a funicular, which I did.
At the top there is a small temple where we were overwhelmed(me and Naomi, an English girl met on the route) by Indians to take the ritual photo with everyone.
Furthermore, at the top it is full of monkeys, who do nothing but are ready to receive all kinds of food.

After the temple visit, we went to watch the sunset, followed by walking down from the temple and having a Momo dinner.

Today was my last full day in Pushkar, I have one more morning tomorrow (14.3.2024) and then I go back to Delhi.Läs mer
