Killing time in Lisbon!

When your flight ends up with a ten hour layover, you go through customs and head into the city. We only had a handful of hours but we loved exploring Lisbon. It’s amazing! We visited Castelo de Sao Jorge with breathtaking views of the city and peacocks! We walked around on the crazy hills enjoying the scenery and tried the Nata for the first time. Holy goodness! We visited the Time Out Market which was jam packed with dozens of restaurants to sample all of the best Portuguese food. The croquettes were phenomenal. Sat for a coffee on the square and now we are headed back for the airport to prepare for our flight to Sevilla. We are exhausted after traveling for 24 hours with no sleep, and we will be arriving in the middle of the night :) but well worth it.Read more
