Tokyo & Lenovo Lab

This morning we first went to Tokyo Tower where we caught a lift to the 45th floor and got amazing views over Tokyo. Cloud was covering Mt fuji so couldn't see that. We then went to Kabukicho which is like the red-light district with lots of neon lights at night. It was daytime so pretty quiet. Our guide took us to a shop called Don Quiote which was like a very strange cross between a department store and $2 shop. You could get anything from souvenirs to Gucci handbags! After lunch we headed to the Lenovo Lab in Yokohama. The lab had fascinating tests behind top secret doors! Also a history of thinkpads ... the earliest being about 1993 and looked extremely primitive. We were all given a goodies bag. We then had some shopping time in a big mall before heading out for dinner. At night we headed back to town and crossed the Shubiya crossing - finally saw lots of people.
