Olympia/Patras/Delphi

After breakfast of only coffee today, started our walking tour from our hotel to the Olympia Historical site. (We were situated very close). Had a guided tour of the Olympic ruins. Awesome grandeur, and scope. Fascinating and very enlightening. Then on to the museum and back to the hotel.

Regrouped and boarded our bus and headed to the most charming Greek resort (in costume, and a massive patio complex)...we ever saw. Stayed for lunch..and it was the best food so far we had on this journey.

Our journey to Delphi took 4 hours, but yes! It was worth it. A small but beautiful and charming hotel called the Appolonia.

We immediately settled in a started to explore the city. Celina and I were in a mood to shop. Found many charming shops . Which I found jewelry for my girls and Celina found the chess set of her dreams.This town...We saw many cafe's and bistro's..with a speckling of art shops. Lovely items here. An art town for sure.

Dinner was an excursion and it did not disappoint. Again a cigar as my night cap.Read more
