Left Charlie with his housesitters and had a pre-train Leffe! Euston to Islington a short hop to our lousy Airbnb, then walked down to Camden. Had a wine in the vibey Blues kitchen, then a wander by Camden lock and some Chinese street food. A beer on the way homeLeggi altro

Lovely time watching the canal boat shenanigans at Camden, then over to Covent garden to meet Gaz and Ellie, then Charlie and Meredith. Made our way to our lovely apartment in Richmond, but we were knackered, so stayed in, to listen to Wrexham get promotedLeggi altro

The Marathon

Set off quite early and parked ourselves on Tower Bridge, the halfway point. Saw the wheelchair racers, the women, then the leading men, including Mo Farah. Great atmosphere and then Ellie arrived just after midday. Over to the embankment for mile 25, then finished with a pint near Westminster. Heaving on the tube so walked to covent garden to get back to Turnham Green. A pint in the Tabard (saw Sian Phillips and got served by Colin Firths son Luka!) Back to Charlie's for a lovely stew and chatLeggi altro
