This stretch near Trabadelo was huge ancient oaks. There were stacks of curing logs on the roadside and stacks of curing odd cuts and stacks of curing boards. I finally passed the mill. Two guys on a single 48 inch circular saw with a tracked cart to pass the log across the blade.

Taberna Grail. The rain had just hit hard. I found the municipal fountain and it is roofed but drafty. This tavern has a hard to see entrance that looks like a hole in the ground. That translated to a spot to hang out with a coffee and a Spanish chocolate croissant. It reminded me of the time we had to shelter in the back shed at Crater Lake staffed camp at Philmont.
