Friday dawned sunny and warm so we were up early for an awesome hike to Cub Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Gorgeous scenery and wildflowers though the forest was a bit worse for wear due toもっと詳しく
Randy and I spent our 40th anniversary winding our way along the Big Thompson River, dropping from 7500 ft elevation to 5000, to arrive at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland Colorado.

After spending two more days at Boyd Lake cycling, walking and watching the storms we headed north to North Ft. Collins/Wellington KOA. Missing our large site at the state campground but it's nearもっと詳しく
We headed back toward Loveland to Carter Lake, a Larimer County Campground. No water views but a fantastic large site backing up to a meadow. Spent the next five days relaxing, reading and throwingもっと詳しく
Took a 15 minute drive to Riverview RV Park along the Big Thompson River. No weekend openings at Carter Lake, we sure missed our big open site🙁. We spent Saturday exploring Denver where we walkedもっと詳しく
Back to the wide open spaces at Carter Lake😁. Monday we checked out Benson Sculpture Gardens in Loveland after watching the eclipse. We reached about 95% of totality at the campground.もっと詳しく
We arrived at A. B. Camping in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Wednesday. After "setting up camp" we took a long walking tour of downtown Cheyenne, the Capital, which was closed for renovation, and visited theもっと詳しく
