San Ignacio

We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at the water’s edge and then spent the next 4 hours travelling back across the border into Belize and reaching our destination of San Ignacio. We received a briefing on the activities available for tomorrow in this picturesque region, took a walk into town to visit the Mennonite Market and savour some homemade ice cream which was also prepared by the mennonites, before relaxing at the pool until dinner time. Weather hovers around 28 degrees and we are enjoying a nice breeze. I captured some of the artwork as it speaks to the culture here. This little owl peaked out at us at dinner.Read more
