Winding rural roads, French Christmas

It’s full on holiday season here in southern France - and it is sparkly and fun! 🤩 I’m not much for the usual glitz- but the French just do it so well. Imagine tasteful, cheerful and sparkly - that’s it.

We arrived in the small town of Salon de Provence- and similar to Avignon- were greeted by an ancient gateway and holiday glee and sparkle! ✨ For us - jaw dropping after a long, gorgeous ride amongst meadows, pastures, vineyards and oak groves.

Now more wandering along narrow cobblestone streets with lovely bakeries and relaxed, cheerful French people (who all walk very fast - btw). Tomorrow we depart for Marseille.Read more
