Fish River Canyon. Oh. My. Dear.

December 18th, we leave Zebra Kalahari Lodge after 2 days as the only guests of the Lodge for our longest trip to Fish River Canyon.
After 450km including 150km of gravel roads through the desert, we reach the lodge and... What a view !
We started to enjoy the view sunbathing at the pool until the half part of the final Argentina -France. We bet that every time Argentina scores, Bea has to jump into the pool, and every time France scores, Thibi has to jump into it. After Bea going twice into th water in 45 minutes, Argentina 2-0 France clocks the time to go for a sunset walk to the south from the lodge, with a great hi from 3 springboks.
We come back to have dinner around 8pm, thinking the game is already over since a while, but France came back 3-3 and there are stil penalties to be played. Unfortunately Mbappe was not enough and Argentina won. Well deserved for Argentina and Messi. Let's wait for our 3rd star in 2026.
Time to sleep down the stars, looking forward to going into the canyon tomorrow.Les mer
