Pardon my seemingly off topic pics, but I was getting in my NH#69, Nicky Hayden club rides for the week covering June 9th, or 6/9. Nicky was the 2006 MotoGP champ, and after motorcycle racing since early childhood - was tragically later killed (hit by a car) while X-training on a bicycle, near his 2nd, European home in Italy. It's a rainy day, so we spent some time driving around this wildlife refuge. We saw many birds, including a bald eagle, a goose family, and a snapping turtle.

We hiked the gorge trail in the Treman state park. It is just west of Ithaca. We were speechless with its beauty!
