Wanderung zum Strand Lopes Mendes.

Der Strand von Lopes Mendes befindet sich im Südosten der Ilha Grande und gilt als einer der schönsten Strände Brasiliens. Der Sandstrand ist fast 2,5 km lang und hier stehen keine Häuser. An kleinen Ständen werden Getränke verkauft. Unter den Bäumen am Strand sind viele schattige Plätze im Sand. Da der Strand dem offenen Ozean zugewandt ist, ist es hier ziemlich windig (Pullover mitnehmen) und man kann in den Wellen baden. Wir sind auf dem Wanderweg, der durch den Regenwald von Vila do Abraão über die Strände von Palmas und Pouso führt, nach etwa zwei Stunden am Strand Lopes Mendes angekommen. Unterwegs haben wir bis auf Spinnen und Ameisen keine interessanten Tiere gesehen.
Auf dem Rückweg sind wir ab Pouso Beach mit einem Taxiboot (ohne vorherige Reservierung) zurück nach Vila do Abraão gefahren.

Lopes Mendes Beach is located in the southeast of Ilha Grande and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. The sandy beach is almost 2.5 km long and there are no houses here. Drinks are sold at small stalls. There are many shady spots on the sand under the trees on the beach. Since the beach faces the open ocean, it is quite windy here (bring a sweater) and you can swim in the waves. We arrived at Lopes Mendes Beach after about two hours on the hiking trail that leads through the rainforest of Vila do Abraão via the beaches of Palmas and Pouso. Apart from spiders and ants, we didn't see any interesting animals on the way. On the way back we took a taxi boat (without prior reservation) from Pouso Beach back to Vila do Abraão.Read more
