Another Travel Day

This was an incredibly quiet day, as we had to travel from Hvar to Dubrovnik on a four-hour ferry. Having had another big night, I decided to spend as much of the journey sleeping as possible. I think I'm finally getting better at travelling because I managed to sleep for most of the four hours, and it was very much needed.

When we arrived in Dubrovnik, we discovered that our hotel was located way up the hillside. By the time we figured this out, it was too short a distance to justify getting a taxi, so we decided to trek up the hundreds of stairs ourselves to drop off our bags.

Although dragging our luggage up the stairs was incredibly painful, the views from the hotel made the effort well worth it. Looking out over Dubrovnik from that height was an awesome introduction to the city.

Other than that, we kept things pretty quiet. We grabbed some food, got ourselves organised and prepared for the big day ahead, when we would be heading out to see some waterfalls and visit Mostar.Read more
