The day before PiMai

Ab morgen werden in Laos drei Tage Pi Mai gefeiert, also das neue Jahr. Da sich alle darauf vorbereiten und in Firmenfeiern stecken etc. ist es heute sehr ruhig in Vientiane.

Ich beginne meinen Tag wieder entspannt und super schön mit einer Morgenrunde und Frühstück. Dabei hat mir von Zeit zu Zeit ein Schmetterling Gesellschaft geleistet, den ich leider nicht in einem Foto einfangen konnte. Beim Schlendern durch die Stadt fällt auf, dass in Vorbereitung auf das heiß ersehnteste Fest des Jahres überall große Bühnen aufgebaut und die Tempel super schön dekoriert werden. Ich bin gespannt, was hier in den kommenden Tagen los sein wird.

Meinen Nachmittag habe ich mit Thomas verbracht. Da es überall ruhig war aufgrund er Vorbereitungen, haben wir mit einer Massage geliebäugelt - leider ohne Erfolg, viele Geschäfte haben schon geschlossen. Die Alternative war chillen und Gespräche am Pool, bevor er Richtung Bangkok aufgebrochen ist.

Nach einer intensiven Shoppingtour stand noch ein Treffen mit Bernd auf der Agenda. Auch das war schön und entspannt. Wir sind vom Essen, über Bar und Tischkicker bis ins Wind West vorgedrungen und hatten viel Spaß. Morgen entspannt er dann schon mit seiner Freundin am Strand in Vietnam.

As I strolled through the city, I noticed that in preparation for the most eagerly awaited festival of the year, large stages were set up everywhere and the temples were beautifully decorated. I am excited to see what will happen here in the coming days.

I spent my afternoon with Thomas. Since it was quiet everywhere because of the preparations, we flirted with the idea of ​​a massage - unfortunately without success, many shops are already closed. The alternative was to chill and chat by the pool before he set off for Bangkok.

After an intensive shopping trip, a meeting with Bernd was on the agenda. That was also nice and relaxed. We went from the food, to the bar and table football, to the Wind West and had a lot of fun. Tomorrow he will be relaxing with his girlfriend on the beach in Vietnam.Read more
